Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

Hive is a social experiment. No ads. No investors. No agenda. This privacy policy explains exactly what we do — and don't do — with your data.

What we collect

By default, we collect nothing that identifies you. The planet homepage and all Hive engines work without any account, login, or tracking.

Some engines (such as HiveBodyLog) offer an optional account feature. If you choose to provide your email address, it is stored only to allow you to recover your data on a new device. No password is required. We do not use your email for marketing.

No advertising

Hive has no advertising, no ad networks, no retargeting, and no data brokers. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for commercial purposes.

No third-party tracking

We do not embed Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party tracking script. We do not use tracking cookies.

Data you provide intentionally

When you use an engine like HiveBodyLog, the content you type is sent to our servers to generate a response using AI. This content is stored in your session so you can review it later. It is not shared with third parties and is not used to train AI models.

Supplement photo analysis

If you use the supplement photo feature in HiveBodyLog, your image is sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their own privacy policy. We do not store the original image — only the text assessment returned.

AI provider

Hive uses Anthropic's Claude models to power its engines. Content you submit to engines is processed by Anthropic's API. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models by default. See anthropic.com/privacy for their policy.

Cookies

Hive does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Some engines use your browser's local storage (not a cookie) to remember your anonymous session ID so your data persists between visits. This data stays on your device and is not sent to any analytics service.

Children

Hive is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

You can delete your data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage. If you have provided an email address to an engine, email us to request deletion: hello@hive.baby.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not reduce your rights without prominent notice.
